Today was the first day since the stay at home complication that it actually felt more empty out there.
Fewer cars. Fewer people. Fewer life.
It was creepy and surreal and expected.
Seems like ‘they’ have a better handle on the numbers – or at least where those numbers are taking us – but the uncertainty of it all is naturally unnerving.
They don’t really know.
Maybe they do.
People are trying though.
They’re hopeful and helpful and, maybe through all this, our sense of community will be repaired.
Maybe we’ll see again what’s important and what’s just filler.
What matters most and what is absolute waste.
